iOS Team Lead

We’re looking for an experienced, highly motivated iOS Team Lead to join our team and lead a group of skilled iOS developers responsible for developing our Fintech offering – Viber Pay.

Full time job. We’re working in hybrid mode, from home and the office.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage an agile team of ~8 senior iOS engineers, including hiring, training, and mentoring.
• Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and maintain high-quality code standards.
• Oversee the development lifecycle of the iOS features from concept to release.
• Ensure best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization techniques are followed
• Ensure compliance with fintech industry regulations and security standards.
• Actively participate in the design, development, and maintenance of Viber’s mobile application while analyzing business requirements to create scalable, high-performing, and testable solutions
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/ UI designers, scrum masters, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a team leader
• More than 5 years of hands-on experience in production mobile software development
• Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C
• Familiarity with core banking and security best practices in fintech applications, including data encryption and authentication
• Expert in Protocol Oriented programming, Functional programming, multi-threading
• Strong understanding of MVVM/MVC architecture and design patterns
• Experience with Agile methodology
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity or decision-making is a strong advantage.
