Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to collaborate with clients and stakeholders, translate business needs into actionable requirements, and drive impactful solutions. This role entails working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results while mentoring and guiding other analysts within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Elicit requirements using various techniques
• Define business goals, needs, and objectives
• Conduct data analysis to ensure features align with goals and deliver optimal solution value
• Translate business needs into functional, non-functional, and transition requirements
• Create epics, use cases, and user stories, including acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with stakeholders, SMEs, development, and QA teams to meet project objectives
• Plan and define the business analysis approach on projects
• Act as Scrum Master when required
• Conduct technical interviews for business analysts
• Mentor and coach less experienced business analysts
• Lead requirement workshops and meetings with customers
• Support solution testing/UAT and manage scope creep risks
  
  
  

Requirements

• At least 4 years of relevant BA experience
• Openness to working in a hybrid mode at one of our offices
• Proficiency in creating various types of requirements across projects
• Background in finance, life sciences, healthcare, or oil & gas domains
• Capability to guide and facilitate effective elicitation activities
• Basic proficiency and experience using AI tools
• Understanding of Agile methodologies like Scrum/Kanban or classic approaches such as Waterfall
• Expertise in creating/adapting templates for projects
• Showcase of diagram creation skills, e.g., with UML/BPMN
• Flexibility to influence and propose suitable software development processes
• Showcase of skills in managing and mitigating scope creep risks
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles and ability to participate in designing activities
• Capability to coach and mentor business analysts or teammates
• Proficiency in self-management, taking responsibility for entire projects or subsystems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• English at C1 level, ability to confidently communicate, write, and document requirements

• Educational background in engineering or computer science
• Familiarity with AI-powered solutions and product development
• Skills in facilitating estimation processes during project stages like RFPs
• Experience working with SQL
• Certifications in Business Analysis, Scrum Master, or Product Owner roles
