Overview:

We’re hiring a hands-on Tech Lead to drive the design and delivery of high-performance, scalable applications for a fast-growing product engineering team based in Dubai. This is a leadership position for someone who still enjoys coding, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is confident guiding architecture and engineering decisions across backend and frontend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex, high-throughput applications using Java and JavaScript.
• Architect and implement microservices-based solutions with a focus on performance, resilience, and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and help shape engineering best practices.
• Own the technical roadmap and contribute to strategic planning.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot preferred) and modern JavaScript (Node.js or a frontend framework like React or Angular).
• Proven experience designing and scaling microservices architectures in production environments.
• Solid understanding of high-performance systems, concurrency, caching, and distributed systems.
• Comfortable working in an agile, collaborative setting with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Background in fintech, trading, or other high-volume transactional systems.
