Application Engineer - Norway

Allweiler AS – a subsidiary of CIRCOR – delivers pumps and pump systems to the maritime business in Norway and internationally. We cover sales and deliveries to shipyards and ship owners worldwide, both for new buildings and Aftermarket. We are searching for an Application Engineer to join our team at our site in Hvalstad.

In this position you will be responsible for providing and maintaining customer satisfaction by establishing a professional and positive relationship with assigned customers in Norway throughout the order cycle - on a commercial and technical level.

Your Responsibilities, But Not Limited To

• Manage the order cycle of quote, order entry, products and services, and warranty support
• Feasibility checks of customer enquiry in consideration of international standards, technical specifications in combination with internal regulations and capabilities
• Review customer specifications, drawings and contractual subjects in project stage
• Work out detailed technical and commercial quotations based on customers’ specifications incl. comments and deviations
• Initiate problem solving for voice of customer and claims by rechecking selection of products and internal processes
• Technical support of our sales organization
  
  

Qualifications

• Multi-lingual experience with Norwegian and English language skills. Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technical Management, technician or equivalent education
• 2-5 years’ experience in sales support and application engineering of consultancy intensive products
• Computer literate and able to work in MS office programs, SAP and CRM systems

You enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team, to handle customer requests and questions. Besides that, you are a great communicator and networker who likes to interact with many internal and external partners.
