Executive Director of IT

We are seeking a seasoned technology executive to join our leadership team as Executive Director of IT. This role is central to shaping our digital strategy, leading critical technology operations, and driving enterprise-wide transformation.

Please note: Only candidates with a minimum of 10 years of proven experience as Head of IT or equivalent senior IT leadership role will be considered.

Role Overview:

As Executive Director of IT, you will be responsible for the end-to-end leadership of our IT function, overseeing enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital innovation, business applications, and IT operations. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will drive the strategic direction of our technology landscape, ensuring IT is a value-generating enabler across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technology Strategy & Transformation: Define, implement, and evolve the organization’s IT roadmap aligned to corporate goals and growth plans.
• Enterprise IT Leadership: Oversee infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, enterprise architecture, digital platforms, applications, and service delivery.
• Cybersecurity Oversight: Ensure a secure, compliant, and resilient technology environment through robust governance and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop diverse IT teams across all functions, instilling a culture of operational excellence and innovation.
• Digital Innovation: Spearhead modernization initiatives, adopting next-generation technologies such as AI, data analytics, and automation where applicable.
• Budget & Vendor Management: Control substantial IT budgets, oversee vendor partnerships, and optimize technology investments for maximum ROI.
• Executive Collaboration: Act as the technology advisor to the C-suite and Board, presenting strategy, risks, and performance updates.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as Head of IT, CIO, or equivalent executive leadership role.
• Proven track record leading enterprise-wide IT strategy and transformation initiatives.
• Deep, hands-on experience in all IT domains: infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, data management, and cloud computing.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, IT compliance frameworks, and enterprise governance.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
