DeepLight is a high-growth AI consultancy building scalable, secure systems for enterprises across the Middle East — including banks, insurers, and governments. We deliver end-to-end GenAI solutions, from advisory to deployment.
As a Cloud Engineer, you'll join our core engineering team to design and maintain the infrastructure powering our AI systems. You'll work with AI researchers, backend engineers, and DevOps to automate, scale, and secure mission-critical environments, which will be primarily in AWS with Terraform and Kubernetes.
You'll operate in fast-moving, cross-functional pods that sit at the core of client delivery, not behind the scenes. Your decisions will directly influence how GenAI systems are deployed, scaled, and maintained in production.

As a Cloud Engineer, you'll join our core engineering team to design and maintain the infrastructure powering our AI systems. Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in cloud engineering, with hands-on work in AWS, Azure.
- Strong command of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi)
- Experience managing Docker containers and orchestrating with Kubernetes
- Ability to design scalable, highly available, and secure systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
- Exposure to serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)
- Experience with AI/ML workloads or data-heavy systems
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Python or Bash scripting for automation
