The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced and driven full-stack developers to join our platform development team. In this position you will help to scale our existing platform as well as build new innovative products. At V-DAQ we focus on creativity and ownership, this role is aimed at engineers who are experienced in full-stack application development from ideation through to production deployment, and ongoing management. This is a great opportunity for engineers looking to join a scaling development team and face exciting technical and operational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, manage, and maintain microservices applications and user interfaces across web, mobile, cloud and IoT.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand, develop, and manage project requirements and timeframes.
• Take ownership of end-to-end delivery for key projects, ensuring outcomes align with stakeholder expectations.
• Contribute to technical decision-making.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies and development practices for continuous improvement.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to help facilitate V-DAQ’s growth and product development.

Required Experience

• Highly skilled in Python, Typescript, and Node.
• Experienced in building web and mobile frontends using modern frameworks like React.
• Experienced in cloud infrastructure design and development.
• Experienced in microservices and APIs.
• Experienced using git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experienced in system ownership and managing systems in a production environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• 5-10 years of professional development experience.
• Desired to have familiarity with IoT protocols and standards such as TCP, MQTT, CoAP, or HTTP.
