An exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer to join a dynamic ICT Operations team, accountable for the design, implementation, and support of the organisation's IT Network. This role offers exposure to a broad range of technologies and upcoming projects.

This position focuses on providing technical expertise and support, ensuring effective network and communications delivery in a fast-paced, security-sensitive environment, with a balance of BAU tasks and project contributions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support the IT Network across various environments, including Datacentres and Cloud.
• Provide technical expertise and support for network and communication delivery, resolving high-level tickets.
• Proactively manage cyber security risks and contribute to continuous network improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, including wireless connections and network connectivity.
• Work with users at different sites to ensure effective network communication and support.

About You:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in an equivalent role.
• Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switching is essential.
• Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Cisco ISE is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and Data Centre Fabric.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across various technologies.
• Professional qualifications in engineering or computer science, with industry certifications in Cisco (e.g., CCNP) highly regarded.
