Data Analyst

We are looking for a highly experienced Tech Data Business Analyst with strong expertise in Python, SQL, and Teradata to join our data-driven team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in analyzing complex datasets, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and driving strategic insights through advanced analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document data and reporting requirements.
• Analyze large datasets using SQL and Teradata, and develop automated data pipelines using Python.
• Design and implement dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for data solutions.
• Perform gap analysis, root cause analysis, and trend analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work closely with data engineering and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Support data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with data policies and standards.
• Lead and mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices in data analysis and business intelligence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or data engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, and analytics.
• Advanced SQL skills with hands-on experience in Teradata.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
