Job Summary

The Tools & Automation Administrator plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the operational efficiency of tools within the organization. This position is focused on independently resolving technical issues, providing on-call support, and conducting root cause analyses, all aimed at ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and adherence to quality standards.


(1.) Key Responsibilities


1. Provide Technical Support And Resolutions By Utilizing Jenkins And Powershell To Automate Processes, Ensuring Compliance With Quality Standards And Company Policies.

2. Conduct Root Cause Analysis Of Escalated Issues Using Powershell Scripts And Jenkins Pipelines To Identify And Implement Effective Solutions.

3. Enhance Team Knowledge By Creating And Managing A Knowledge Base, Providing Training For New Hires, And Coaching Analysts On Best Practices In Automation And Tools Usage.

4. Independently Resolve Technical Tickets Within The Agreed Sla By Leveraging Automation Tools Like Jenkins For Deployment And Troubleshooting.

5. Achieve A Positive Customer Experience By Ensuring First Call Resolution And Minimizing Rejected Resolutions Or Reopened Cases Through Effective Problem-Solving Techniques.


Skill Requirements:


1. Proficiency In Jenkins For Ci/Cd Automation

2. Strong Knowledge Of Powershell Scripting For Task Automation

3. Familiarity With Python And Ansible For Configuration Management

4. Understanding Of It Service Management And Ticket Resolution Processes


Certification:


1. Optional But Valuable: ITIL Certification

2. Optional But Valuable: Certified Jenkins Engineer

3. Optional But Valuable: Automation Testing Certification


Additional requirement :


Language: Candidate must be fluent in French + English language.


Years of Experience:


  • Total experience: 6+
  • Relevant experience: Minimum 5 years in DevOps and Jenkins pipeline management


Job Description


- Adhering to SLAs

- Awareness and adherence to ITIL processes

- Mentoring / training DevOps team members

- Handling CI/CD pipeline issues and requests

- Performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting

- Defining and enforcing DevOps best practices

- Overseeing Jenkins installation, configuration, and upgrades

- Ensuring high availability and performance of CI/CD infrastructure

- Managing multienvironment deployment pipelines

- Building and maintaining test and staging environments

- Designing and validating backup and recovery strategies

- Driving automation and infrastructureas-code initiatives

- Monitoring and maintaining SLA compliance

- Planning and executing patching and upgrade strategies

- Conducting audits and compliance checks

- Identifying skill gaps and planning training sessions

- Supporting cloud migration and containerization efforts

- Reporting and analysis of DevOps metrics

- Coordinating with vendors and tool providers


Technical Requirements


- Strong expertise in Jenkins pipeline scripting (Groovy)

- Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, Bitbucket

- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm

- Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or Ansible

- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Scripting in Shell, Python, or Bash

- Experience with artifact repositories (Nexus, Artifactory)

- Knowledge of security and compliance in CI/CD

- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies

- Understanding of container orchestration and service mesh
