Accountabilities:

• Lead the research and development of cutting-edge AI/ML models focused on handwriting recognition, synthesis, and document layout analysis
• Push the boundaries of Document AI by developing robust, scalable solutions to real-world problems
• Collaborate closely with engineers, QA, and designers to ship intelligent features quickly and efficiently
• Drive innovation through experimentation, iteration, and the integration of emerging technologies into core product experiences
• Publish research or contribute to open-source projects that support the machine learning community
  
  
  

Requirements

• Solid foundation in Deep Learning and sequence modeling with hands-on experience in deploying models to production
• Expertise in areas like handwriting recognition, handwriting synthesis, stroke classification, or document layout analysis
• Demonstrated research experience through publications or open-source contributions
• Strong programming skills in Python and fluency with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
• Familiarity with C++, Rust, or Swift is a plus, especially for on-device model deployment
• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals and a collaborative mindset for working in remote, asynchronous teams
