Are you a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer with a passion for cutting-edge dialog-based AI solutions? We're collaborating with a leading German IT Services and Consulting company seeking a freelance, German-speaking Senior AI Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a critical project for a public sector client, focusing on the development of an innovative AI chatbot.

About the Project

You'll be an integral part of an 8-10 person engineering team, working on a high-impact dialog-based AI chatbot project. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, full project details will be shared with qualified candidates who express interest.

What We're Looking For

We require a mastery of the following technologies and concepts, with demonstrable experience:

AI Stack & Tools:

• Python
• Pharia AI Stack (Must have)
• Qdrant
• Pandas
• PreMe
• Bonus skills: RAG, Retrieval Optimization, GenAI Evaluation, Langchain, Container-Apps

LLM Application & Methodologies:

• Python for LLM application
• RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)
• Indexierung/Vektorisierung (Indexing/Vectorization)
• Prompt-Design, -Templating und -Logging (Prompt Design, Templating, and Logging)
• Bonus skills: Agentic Frameworks, Tracing, statistische Evaluationsmethoden (statistical evaluation methods)

Language & Availability:

• Fluent German speaking is essential.
• Availability: August 1st, 2025 – July 31st, 2026 (with likely extension options)
