Python Developer

Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with deep expertise in Django/Django REST Framework (DRF). The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust APIs, debugging and refactoring legacy applications, and writing clean, scalable code from scratch. Experience in CI/CD and familiarity with cloud-based tools is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python and Django/DRF
• Design and build scalable APIs and integrations
• Refactor legacy applications and write new code from scratch based on older systems
• Manage and optimize relational databases
• Debug and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and performance
• Contribute to the setup and improvement of CI/CD pipelines (good to have)

Competencies:

• Digital: Python
• Digital: Databricks (preferred)
• Digital: Azure Data Factory (preferred)

Experience Required: 8 years+

Essential Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with Django/Django REST Framework
• Experience in API development, debugging, and database management
• Application refactoring expertise – able to understand legacy systems and rebuild them effectively
• Good to have: experience in CI/CD pipeline implementation

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Databricks and Azure Data Factory
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
