Role Overview

IGT PlayDigital is seeking a talented and experienced Illustrator to join our UI/UX team’s Illustration squad. You will play a crucial role in designing high-quality visual assets for gamification features such as jackpots, leaderboards, missions, treasure hunts, and engaging mini-games.

Your expertise in Photoshop and Illustrator will be essential in creating quick, original mock-ups that evolve into polished, production-ready designs. You will work closely with animators, front-end developers, and product designers to ensure seamless handovers of assets and smooth integration into our internal layouting tool.

What You’ll Do

• Illustrate and design visually stunning assets for gamification user experiences, ensuring they align with the IGT Engagement Platform and industry-leading casino aesthetics.
• Quickly produce mock-ups and iterate based on feedback before refining assets into final, production-ready illustrations.
• Collaborate with animators to deliver assets optimized for smooth animation handovers.
• Work alongside front-end developers to integrate assets into our internal layouting tool for assembling dynamic UI/UX elements.
• Ensure visual consistency and high-quality standards across all illustrations, maintaining a cohesive design language.
• Stay up to date with industry trends in online gaming, gamification, and UI/UX best practices.
• Adapt to a fast-paced, agile work environment, delivering assets to meet tight deadlines for high-profile clients.
  
  

About You

• Advanced proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator (experience with additional digital art tools is a plus).
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of work, ideally with gaming, online casino, social, or casual gaming experience.
• Ability to quickly create original concept mock-ups and refine them into final assets.
• Experience designing assets that seamlessly integrate with UI/UX elements and hand off smoothly to animation and development teams.
• Strong understanding of composition, color, lighting, and visual storytelling in a gaming context.
• A team player with excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.

• Previous experience in the gambling industry or a strong understanding of online casino aesthetics.
• Experience with gamification tools or games.
• Familiarity with game asset production pipelines and animation-ready file preparation.
