Job Description

We are seeking a Segment & Automation Specialist to join our global marketing analytics team at H&M. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, technology, and customer experience. You’ll be responsible for building and managing customer segmentation strategies and marketing automation workflows that power personalized, data-driven campaigns across multiple channels.

What You’ll Do  

As a Segment & Automation Specialist, you will play a central role in how we activate customer data across our marketing ecosystem. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain customer audiences to support targeted marketing and CRM initiatives.
  • Design, implement, and optimize marketing automation workflows to improve campaign efficiency and personalization.
  • Manage audience selection and activation within the Customer Data Platform (CDP).
  • Provide training and ongoing support to global and regional teams to ensure effective use of segmentation and automation tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including CRM, media, product, and analytics to align segmentation strategies with business goals.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, using insights and test & learn capabilities to refine segmentation and automation strategies to optimize ROI.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal data governance standards.


Who You’ll Work With

In this role, you’ll be part of the Measurement & Analytics team within the Marketing function and work closely with a wide range of stakeholders across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams within the marketing unit—including CRM, media operations, strategy and planning, controlling, and technical product teams—to ensure that segmentation and automation strategies are aligned with business goals and deliver measurable impact. Together, you’ll drive insights and execution that enhance marketing activations.

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in CRM, marketing automation, or customer analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with data activation tools (e.g., Hightouch) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Braze), with a strong understanding of how to connect data to customer experiences
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools such as SQL, Excel, or Google Analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting or training teams across different regions is a plus.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and a passion for customer-centric marketing in a fast-paced, global environment.
