Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated .NET API Developer with strong experience in building and maintaining scalable APIs using .NET Core and deploying them on AWS Cloud Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong backend development skills and experience working in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable RESTful APIs using .NET Core / .NET 6+
  • Integrate APIs with front-end applications and third-party services
  • Deploy and manage APIs on AWS using services like EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, S3, CloudWatch, RDS, and DynamoDB
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline / GitHub Actions / Jenkins
  • Monitor and optimize application performance in production
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and front-end developers
  • Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and RESTful API development
  • Experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, ECS, CloudFormation)
  • Good understanding of OAuth 2.0 / JWT authentication and authorization mechanisms
  • Hands-on experience with Entity Framework / Dapper
  • Familiarity with SQL Server or NoSQL databases
  • Experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks
  • Version control using Git
  • Exposure to containerization (Docker) and microservices architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certification (Developer Associate or Solutions Architect)
  • Familiarity with Terraform or AWS CDK for infrastructure as code
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., ELK Stack, CloudWatch, DataDog)
  • Prior experience in migrating .NET applications to cloud-native environments

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
