We’re looking for a Database Administrator to support our team in Masqat, Oman. Required Skills & Experience:

• 12–15 years of experience in Database Administration, including at least 5+ years of in-depth Greenplum and PostgreSQL administration.
• Strong understanding of Greenplum internals, segment/primary/mirror nodes, resource queues, and parallel query execution.
• Experience managing large-scale telecom databases, including billing, usage, network, and customer data domains.
• Proven expertise in: SQL performance tuning, Backup/recovery tools and scripts, Data replication and partitioning, DB patching upgrades and maintenance
• Familiarity with Oracle RDBMS (basic to intermediate level).
• Working knowledge of Linux OS and shell scripting.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with ETL/data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, NiFi, Kafka pipelines).
• Exposure to cloud database technologies (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, etc.) for hybrid models.
• Experience in automating DBA tasks and scripting for monitoring and alerting.
• Understanding of data governance, data privacy, and security compliance in telecom environments.
