Backend Developer (all genders)

We seek a motivated and dedicated Backend Developer (all genders) to join our team in Hamburg, Berlin, Vienna, hybrid, or remote as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the backend infrastructure of our platform using modern technologies and latest standards.
• Collaborate closely with frontend and DevOps teams to create robust and scalable APIs.
• Build and optimize APIs (REST, SOAP) and ensure smooth integration of third-party services.
• Be responsible for connecting and managing AWS Cloud Services (ECS, SQS, Cognito, RDS) and developing scalable solutions.
• Implement and manage MySQL databases and Docker containers to ensure reliable and flexible infrastructure.
• Integrate Contentful and work with the Contentful API for content management.
• Ensure high code quality and optimize existing CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines, with a future focus on GitHub Actions).

Qualifications:

• Solid experience in Golang (preferably with the Chi framework).
• Familiarity with Docker, MySQL, and AWS services (ECS, SQS, Cognito, RDS).
• Interface development (REST, SOAP) is part of your daily work.
• Experience with Contentful and the Contentful API is a plus.
• Familiarity with Bitbucket Pipelines (experience with GitHub Actions is an advantage).
• Quick comprehension and ability to work in an agile environment.
• Fluent in German and good command of English.
