Junior Portfolio Analyst (back / middle office) - Boutique Private Equity Firm - £40-£50k plus bonus

Mondrian Alpha are working with a high-performing private equity firm with an exceptional track record and a clear trajectory of growth. Following a period of strong fundraising, they are looking to hire a Portfolio Associate into their Performance Analytics team.

You will take ownership of portfolio monitoring and performance analysis across a diverse set of assets, supporting senior stakeholders with real-time insights and valuation data. You’ll collaborate closely with the investment team to assess asset-level developments, deliver periodic performance reports, and respond to investor queries. You will also support commercial finance with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.

You’ll work on onboarding new investments into internal platforms, improving the accuracy and efficiency of reporting processes, and supporting the continued development of scalable models and tools. This position offers excellent visibility across the business, as well as exposure to fund operations, investment strategy, and commercial planning.

The ideal candidate will have up to 2 years’ experience in a relevant role within the investment management space, ideally with exposure to portfolio monitoring or data analysis. Strong Excel skills are essential, with experience in model building a plus. Excellent academics, clear written and verbal communication, and a strong analytical mindset are also key.
