Do you develop with performance and security at your top priority?
What about an opportunity to enable IoT scale ups with state-of-art hardware?
With a goal of bridging the gap between cost and state-of-art system development, this well backed scale-up is delivering complete IoT solutions to partners within the wider technology sector.
Hosted on GCP, the backend is making use of GoLang for it's impactful performance and security; you would further develop new APIs and Microservices to expand and enhance the existing system.
Your role would evolve to implementing further CI/CD pipelines, scaling the cloud backend (GCP) and impact the overall backend strategy. As the team continues to expand, you will support junior engineers with 1-1 code reviews, and shadowing sessions to promote a learning culture.
To make an impact, you need to:
- Have commercial experience writing GoLang / JavaScript (React)
- Understand GCP or other cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Have experience building performant APIs and integrating them
- Champion best practices for performance, privacy and security
- Have experience integrating with external and internal systems
- Are willing to learn beyond the back-end stack such as data or infrastructure or front-end
- Great communication skills in English and German (Bonus)
