As an Android Developer, you will be part of a dynamic Agile team building innovative solutions for web and mobile banking platforms.

Function Description

As a skilled Android Developer, you will:

• Translate requirements into high-quality code.
• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Kotlin code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship new features.
• Work with external data sources and APIs.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Unit-test for robustness and reliability.
• Identify bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Language Requirements

• English: Sound knowledge.
• One local language (Dutch or French): Required.

Education

• Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience.

Required Experience & Knowledge

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.

Technical (Mandatory):

• Strong understanding of clean code principles.
• Google Android design principles, interface guidelines, and best practices.
• Expertise in Kotlin.
• Jetpack Compose and Material 3 design.
• Test-Driven Development (TDD) experience.
• Knowledge of Android SDK versions and common libraries.
• Experience with Git/SVN, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, Confluence, JIRA.
• Continuous Integration/Deployment principles.
• RESTful API integration and 3rd-party libraries.

Preferable:

• Knowledge of Docker, Containers, and Groovy.

Business Experience

• Agile/Scrum experience preferred.
• Experience in large developer teams.

Soft Skills
