Senior Java Software Developer (f/m/d)

We are currently working on behalf of our client, a leading platform for the buying, selling, and monetization of domain names, to find a passionate Java Developer (m/f/d) who will play a key role in developing and enhancing their marketplace platform. Your Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features to address complex customer requirements using modern technologies.
• Take full responsibility for the product lifecycle, from conception to release and beyond.
• Develop with Java 17+21 and integrate with services using REST and Message Queues.
• Work with Spring Boot and Apache Camel-based services and integrate products using APIs (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS, 1&1).
• Maintain a high level of code quality, treating test code with the same importance as production code.
• Contribute to continuous deployment, ensuring the smooth rollout of new software across multiple environments.
• Use Git, Helm, and Jenkins for version control and deployment processes.
• Operate applications as Docker containers in a private cloud-managed Kubernetes cluster.
• Use tools like ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, and Icinga for monitoring, logging, and performance analysis.
• Actively participate in agile working processes and contribute to shaping software architecture and technology selection.

Your Profile

• Strong expertise in Java development, with experience in building robust backend services.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Apache Camel.
• Knowledge of RESTful services and Message Queues.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with continuous deployment practices, including Git, Helm, Jenkins, and private cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with monitoring and analysis tools such as ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, and Icinga.
• A proactive team player who enjoys working in an agile environment.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
