As a Data Analyst in our Data Science and Analysis team, you will play a key part in enabling data-driven decision-making across the business. By collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets, your insights will support risk management, marketing, and other functions, help improve portfolio performance, and contribute to the development of advanced analytical solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from internal and external sources to ensure high-quality, reliable inputs for analysis.
  • Develop and maintain analytical tools, dashboards, and data models to support risk monitoring and portfolio analysis.
  • Produce and interpret regular and ad hoc reports, translating data into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Conduct portfolio analyses to assess risk exposure, monitor key performance indicators, and identify trends across portfolio segments.
  • Translate analytical findings into recommendations, supporting risk policy refinement and portfolio optimization.
  • Collaborate on optimizing risk policies to maximize the value derived from risk models.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, supporting decision-making and operational improvements.

Requirements:

  • Degree in statistics, applied mathematics, economics, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Advanced SQL skills for querying large datasets and building complex data transformations.
  • Proficiency in R or Python for data analysis, automation, or model prototyping.
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau) to create dashboards and visualize analytical outputs.
  • Experience building and maintaining analytical data pipelines, including source data extraction, transformation, and automation using job schedulers (e.g., Cron) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to work with complex datasets and deliver clear insights.
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to learn new tools, techniques, and business concepts in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Prior experience in financial services or risk analytics is an advantage.

There is no one-size-fits-all here, we are quite flexible and use an individual approach with every Candidate we meet. While getting familiar during our interview, we try to understand where your working experience, professional skills and future contribution to the company can be applied within our multiple business projects.

We don’t want to set any limits, but if we are naming the numbers, then the salary for this position starts from 2,300 EUR gross per month depending on your experience and skills.

With us you will:

  • Be a part of a top-tier team of professionals, work on global projects that reach millions worldwide, create complex one-of-a-kind in-house products and solutions.
  • Learn and exchange ideas in lectures and workshops led by colleagues and team leads.
  • Get health benefits: fully covered health insurance after end of the trial period (dentistry, out-patient treatment, mental health, medicine, etc.), well-being activities, vaccination days.
  • Enjoy employee discount programs and have fun at monthly internal activities and celebrations.
  • Work from a modern and well-equipped office in the center of Riga, with parking space for bikes and scooters, fresh fruits and coffee on a daily basis.

We are driven by innovation and continuous learning, building a culture where both personal and professional development thrive.

Join us and grow alongside a dynamic team making a significant impact in the ever-evolving world of fintech!
