We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Ecofinance team within Dyninno Group fintech division.

Ecofinance is a fast-growing fintech company delivering accessible B2C financial services worldwide. Through our P2P platform, we offer flexible products like short-term loans, installment loans, and lines of credit via brands like Creditprime and Honey Loan – all online for maximum convenience. With over 5 million clients in Romania, Moldova, and the Philippines, Ecofinance ranks among the top ten microfinance providers by loan volume.

As a Data Analyst in our Data Science and Analysis team, you will play a key part in enabling data-driven decision-making across the business. By collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets, your insights will support risk management, marketing, and other functions, help improve portfolio performance, and contribute to the development of advanced analytical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from internal and external sources to ensure high-quality, reliable inputs for analysis.
  • Develop and maintain analytical tools, dashboards, and data models to support risk monitoring and portfolio analysis.
  • Produce and interpret regular and ad hoc reports, translating data into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Conduct portfolio analyses to assess risk exposure, monitor key performance indicators, and identify trends across portfolio segments.
  • Translate analytical findings into recommendations, supporting risk policy refinement and portfolio optimization.
  • Collaborate on optimizing risk policies to maximize the value derived from risk models.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, supporting decision-making and operational improvements.

Requirements

  • Degree in statistics, applied mathematics, economics, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Advanced SQL skills for querying large datasets and building complex data transformations.
  • Proficiency in R or Python for data analysis, automation, or model prototyping.
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau) to create dashboards and visualize analytical outputs.
  • Experience building and maintaining analytical data pipelines, including source data extraction, transformation, and automation using job schedulers (e.g., Cron) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to work with complex datasets and deliver clear insights.
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to learn new tools, techniques, and business concepts in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Prior experience in financial services or risk analytics is an advantage.

Compensation

The salary for this position starts from 2,300 EUR gross per month depending on your experience and skills.
