💶 Rate: €320 per day

We’re currently hiring a Junior Kafka DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing team managing data streaming infrastructure at scale. You’ll play a hands-on role in operating, optimizing, and securing Kafka services in a critical enterprise environment.

🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintain and monitor Kafka clusters in a high-availability production setup
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (Python/Bash)
• Troubleshoot performance issues and tune Kafka for efficiency
• Manage security protocols (SSL/TLS, RBAC, Kerberos)
• Support Kafka-based CI/CD integration
• Collaborate with dev teams and provide technical documentation
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and team procedures

✅ What You’ll Need

• 2+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Kafka-focused roles
• Hands-on Kafka administration (setup, config, tuning)
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, and Zookeeper
• Monitoring tools like Dynatrace, ELK, or Splunk
• Fluent English (spoken and written); other EU languages a plus
• Ability to work on-site full-time in Luxembourg
