Technical Product Owner

About the role:

Join our team as a Technical Product Owner (TPO), where you will play a critical role in maximizing product value in highly technical environments. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Business Owners, and Development Teams to transform strategic goals into actionable work, ensuring alignment between business vision and technical execution. This role is suited for technically savvy product leaders comfortable driving both product and technical enablers.

What you will do:

• Own and manage the team’s product backlog, ensuring it is prioritized and aligned with the product roadmap

• Write clear, actionable user stories with defined acceptance criteria

• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate product strategy into development tasks

• Partner with Engineering, Architects, and Integration Engineers to gather technical requirements and validate feasibility

• Provide technical leadership to ensure alignment between product goals and engineering solutions

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and agile ceremonies

• Ensure development teams understand the scope and expectations for delivery

• Conduct reviews and demos to gather feedback and validate delivery against business needs

• Monitor product KPIs and use data to inform backlog prioritization and continuous improvement

• Maintain clear documentation for product features, user stories, and decisions

• Communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely manner

• Ensure delivery of high-quality, technically sound product increments ready for release

Requirements & technologies:

• Proven experience in Product Ownership, particularly in technically complex environments

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and backlog management

• Experience working closely with development teams, architects, and integration engineers

• Ability to write user stories with technical components and guide technical execution

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and AI technologies

• Experience reviewing and validating technical solutions and architecture

• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management

• Ability to work collaboratively across business and technical teams

• Understanding of software architecture, DevOps practices, and scalable systems

Nice to have:

• Experience with monitoring KPIs and using data to guide prioritization

• Familiarity with documentation tools and agile tracking platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence)

• Background in engineering or computer science is a plus
