About this Role
The Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics (AIDA) organisation leads the transformation of Analytics and Data Ocean Services across Vodafone. This role is pivotal in converting data into actionable insights that enhance business performance and support data-driven decision-making. Key areas of focus include validating IT Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) inputs from Local Markets, conducting data analysis to support strategic decisions (e.g. insourcing, offshoring, transformation, mergers and acquisitions), and benchmarking against internal and external telecommunications operators.

You are a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a strong background in data analysis and reporting. You are comfortable working with large datasets and confidential information, and you possess a growth mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt. You are confident in communicating with stakeholders across various levels and are committed to delivering high-quality insights that drive strategic decisions.
What you will do
- Validate TCO data submissions from Local Markets, ensuring compliance with all criteria and resolving outstanding anomalies.
- Maintain and update TCO trackers with accuracy and efficiency.
- Deliver ad-hoc reports and analysis on TCO data, responding to queries within agreed timelines.
- Generate insights by analysing trends, distributions, and anomalies, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and develop tracking and reporting tools using Excel or other platforms such as Power BI.
What skills you need
- Minimum 4 years of experience in data analysis, particularly with large datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data sets and produce clear, actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across the organisation.
- High level of discretion when handling confidential information.
- Adaptable and proactive approach to learning and development.
- University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
- Solid understanding of project management frameworks.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI.
