Position: Senior Kotlin Web Developer

Location: Amsterdam Area, Netherlands

Type: Full time and Hybrid position (2 days per week in the office)

Languages: Fluent English (C1-C2)

Eligibility: Candidates must be located within the EU with a valid EU passport or work permit (mandatory).

Required Technical and Soft Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development with Kotlin
• 10 years with Java development
• Expertise in RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
  
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the payments industry, particularly with e-commerce checkout or payment systems,payment gateways and transaction processing.
• Familiarity with MongoDB, Kafka, and PostgreSQL.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services using Kotlin and Java.
• Build and secure RESTful APIs and microservices that support our payment platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate payment gateways and transaction processing systems.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for smooth software delivery.
• Conduct automated testing to ensure reliability and efficiency of the platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to backend services.
