Graduate Trainee

The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) is the supervisory and regulatory authority of the banking and insurance sector in the United Arab Emirates. The CBUAE is responsible for enhancing monetary management, financial stability and protecting consumers through effective supervision of licensed financial institutions, prudent management of reserves, robust financial infrastructure and the adoption of digital technologies.

The role holder will embark on a transformational learning journey, over the course of a 9-month period, offering them a unique opportunity for accelerated development and career growth while preparing them to take on managerial roles in the future.

Key responsibilities include:

• Actively participates in the entire CBUAE Graduate Development Programme as detailed in the programme outline and schedule
• Satisfactorily completes all assigned course work, assignment and assessments required across all modules of the programme
• Satisfactorily passes all professional certifications mandated as part of their group and individual learning journey during the foundation and specialisation phase of the programme
• Maintains the updated Individual development plans (IDPs) and submits the reports in a timely manner
• Maintains solid attendance and punctuality during the course of the programme
• Performs any other duties as part of the CBUAE Graduate Development Programme as and when required.

Position Specifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, International Relation, Statistics, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field or relevant subject.
• 0-1 years of work experience
• National holding a valid passport and family book
• Fresh graduate from an accredited Local or International Universities
• Have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.00 and above
• Continuously demonstrate resilience, an eagerness to learn and a passion to deliver value.
