๐ Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with hands-on experience in Large Language Models (LLM) to join our remote team on a contract basis. This role involves building intelligent ML pipelines, training models, and exploring cutting-edge areas like RAG (Retrieve and Generate), recommendation engines, and network science.
๐ Key Responsibilities
- ๐งน Develop ML pipelines for data cleaning using existing cleaned datasets.
- ๐ท๏ธ Train models to recognize products based on textual descriptions.
- ๐ Focus on RAG and explore advanced domains like recommendation systems, network science, and more.
- ๐ Collaborate on dashboard development using Power BI or Google Looker.
- ๐งช Build, deploy, and operate machine learning pipelines across production environments.
- ๐ Work with large, distributed datasets to extract actionable insights.
- ๐ Leverage data storytelling to communicate findings effectively across teams.
- ๐ค Participate in Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to program management.
- ๐ฏ Expertise in ML methods:
- Recommendation Systems
- Supervised Learning & Feature Engineering
- Time Series & Forecasting
- Clustering
- ๐งฌ Strong background in network science and feature engineering.
- ๐ป Proficiency in Python, R, or Scala.
- ๐ง Experience with ML frameworks like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and at least one Deep Learning framework.
- โ๏ธ Familiarity with Cloud AI/ML tools (preferably GCP).
- ๐ Experience with Power BI or Google Looker for visualization.
- ๐ Skilled in data mining, predictive modeling, and working with unstructured data.
- ๐ง Knowledge of NLP and image processing is a plus.
- ๐งฉ Ability to overlay multiple datasets and scale insights.
- ๐ Self-sufficiency in solving technical challenges through research.
