Mobile Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to help lead the development of performant, user-centric applications used by a wide and dynamic user base. In this role, you’ll build mobile experiences that support real-time data, geolocation services, and seamless user interactions — with a focus on scale, reliability, and cross-platform consistency

Responsibilities:

• Architect, build, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using native (iOS/Android) or cross-platform technologies (e.g., Flutter, React Native)
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to define and deliver intuitive user experiences
• Implement features involving real-time updates, GPS/geolocation, notifications, and data visualization
• Optimize app performance, battery usage, and data efficiency across a broad range of devices and conditions
• Ensure accessibility, usability, and localization best practices
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and technical planning discussions
• Stay current with mobile development trends and recommend improvements to tools and processes

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience developing and deploying mobile applications at scale
• Strong proficiency in at least one native platform (Swift/Objective-C for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android) and/or cross-platform frameworks
• Experience working with APIs, real-time data, and event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with offline-first architecture, data caching, and sync strategies
• Comfortable working with location services, background processing, and push notifications
• Passion for clean code, performance optimization, and delivering high-quality user experiences
• Bonus: Experience with mapping SDKs, BLE/NFC, accessibility standards, or user behavior analytics
