Senior Data Scientist (Remote - Ukraine, Poland)

Join a high-impact team at the forefront of AI innovation, tackling real-world fraud and trust challenges across the digital economy. In this role, you'll prototype intelligent systems, explore generative AI use cases, and lead the development of advanced machine learning models. Working cross-functionally with engineering and product teams, you'll build scalable, real-time solutions that detect and prevent fraudulent activity. You'll also mentor junior team members and help define the future of data science within a collaborative, remote-first environment.

Accountabilities:

• Design and conduct hypothesis-driven experiments and offline simulations to validate product and model effectiveness
• Develop and prototype cutting-edge machine learning models and generative AI tools to detect fraud and abusive behavior
• Investigate adversarial behavior and create robust defenses against evolving threats
• Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and customer teams to integrate data science solutions into production systems
• Mentor junior data scientists and promote best practices in experimentation, modeling, and operationalization
  
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data science or a related role, ideally in a tech-driven environment
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience using big data tools like Spark and Snowflake
• Expertise in machine learning techniques, experimentation, and production-level deployment
• Experience analyzing structured or sequential data, especially from user activity logs
• Skilled in communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Self-starter with strong prioritization skills and comfort with ambiguity
• Bonus: background in Trust & Safety, deep learning (LLMs, GenAI, prompt engineering), or experience with real-time prediction systems
• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a quantitative field is a plus
