UI/UX Designer

UI/UX Designer (5+ Years Experience)

Location: Hybrid (London)

Contract Outside IR35:6 Months

We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer with a strong background in user experience design, preferably within the travel industry or other customer-centric digital platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout the product development cycle to create seamless, user-friendly solutions. You will apply your expertise to enhance our digital products, ensuring they deliver engaging, accessible experiences that meet business objectives and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to gather user requirements and develop design concepts that align with both user and business goals.
• Lead the end-to-end design process, producing wireframes, prototypes, and user journey maps using Figma and other design tools.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and improve overall user experience.
• Prepare comprehensive design specifications and documentation for engineering teams.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback and performance data to optimize usability and engagement.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and promote best practices throughout the organization.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to guide design strategy and innovation.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in UI/UX design, preferably within the travel industry or similar fast-paced, content-rich environments.
• Proven track record of working in agile teams and collaborating closely with engineering during product delivery.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions and proficiency with tools like Figma.
• Experience with user journey mapping, storyboarding, and prototyping.
• Solid understanding of UX principles, usability testing, and design thinking methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present design ideas to various stakeholders.
