Role: DevOps Administrator – Data Platform

Looking for proactive and experienced DevOps Administrator to manage, automate, and scale our Data Platform infrastructure. This role is pivotal in building reliable, secure, and high-performing environments to support data engineering and analytics workloads. You will collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Platform Engineers, Architects, and Security teams to streamline CI/CD, automate deployments, and ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsiblities:

• Maintain and optimize data infrastructure (e.g., Spark clusters, Kafka, Airflow, Hive, Presto).
• Provision and manage Kubernetes-based services for data pipelines and analytics platforms.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.
• Enable Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Implement observability stack (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog).
• Enforce RBAC, secret management, and audit controls.
• Integrate platform with identity providers (LDAP, OAuth, Azure AD).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS) and Helm for deployment management.
• Proficient in Terraform and shell scripting (Bash, Python).
• Familiarity with Airflow, Spark, Kafka, and distributed data systems.
• Hands-on with GitOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD.
• Experience in managing Docker images, containers, and container registries.
• Knowledge of artifact management (e.g., Nexus, Artifactory).
• Experience with data Lakehouse platforms (e.g., S3 + Hive, Delta Lake, Iceberg) will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
• Experience implementing alerting, logging, and distributed tracing in data environments.
• Experience in secret management using Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or Kubernetes Secrets.
