Assistant Director, HR (Head of Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding)
As the key leader driving the Talent Acquisition initiatives, you will be responsible for attracting, recruiting talent to support the University’s strategic goals. You will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing high impact initiatives and strategies that support human resource acquisition and act as a gatekeeper of our talent hires. You will also be overseeing the employer branding of SUTD.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement new and innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract talents to support the University’s vision.
- Manage resourcing of all talent in the University, which includes senior relationship roles, academic hiring as well as administrative and research hiring.
- Expand new sources of recruitment channels to build pipelines for recruitment across SUTD. This includes referral program, networking, events, campaigns and internal mobility schemes.
- Oversee all tenders and procurement related to recruitment channels (e.g. appointment of recruitment agencies, job posting packages etc).
- Manage all recruitment-related policies and procedures to ensure relevancy to the University’s needs.
- Drive use of ‘skills taxonomy’ and ‘behavior competencies” to enable HR and Hiring Managers to make better quality hiring decisions.
- Manage employee engagement activities to achieve a positive employee culture.
- Design, plan and execute employer branding activities to develop reputation as an Employer of Choice.
- Act also as a hybrid HR business partner to assigned client organizations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
- At least 15 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a HR business partnering and/or talent acquisition.
- Able to leverage knowledge and network to build the University's potential.
- Proven track records of implementing talent acquisition strategies.
- Skilled at listening, influencing for results and stakeholder management.
- Exceptional skills in written and verbal communications
- Strong people manager to lead happy teams.
