QA Analyst - IT (225-719)

Job Description

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst in the IT sector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality of software and applications. Your primary responsibility will be to test and evaluate software products to ensure they meet the necessary standards before they are released to end-users. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and an in-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle. You will work closely with developers and project managers to identify and resolve any issues, bugs, or errors in the software, ensuring it performs optimally and reliably. By implementing rigorous testing processes, you’ll contribute significantly to the delivery of high-quality IT solutions that not only meet but exceed customer expectations. Your expertise will be instrumental in minimizing software defects, optimizing performance, and enhancing overall user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive testing plans and strategies for software.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues with detailed reports.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve software defects efficiently.
• Execute test cases and analyze results to ensure software functionality.
• Validate new and existing software for compliance with quality standards.
• Analyze user stories and requirements for testability and clarity.
• Maintain and enhance automated testing frameworks and scripts.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure previous enhancements remain intact.
• Create and maintain test documentation for internal and external purposes.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for product improvements and innovations.
• Participate in regular meetings to discuss project timelines and deliverables.
• Stay updated with current trends and practices in QA methodologies and tools.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field required.
• Proven experience as a QA Analyst or similar software testing role.
• In-depth knowledge of various software testing methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must for this role.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with test management software and bug tracking systems.
