Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Frontend Development Engineer you will be involved in developing intuitive User Interfaces and automation solutions for the IBM Z platform.

This role focuses on integrating infrastructure automation workflows with modern front-end applications enhancing usability and efficiency for mainframe environments. You will Work closely with backend engineers as part of a full-stack team, and collaborate with Product, Design, and other cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality solutions. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits. Focus on growing capabilities to support an enhanced user experience.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• 2+ years of software development experience in JavaScript
• 2+ years experience in developing Frontend application with the Ember framework is preferred, or a strong interest and ability to get up to speed with it.
• Proficient with Ansible and Python Programming (minimum 3 years)
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Strong analytical, debugging and problem solving skills to analyse issues and defects reported by customer-facing and test teams.
• Proficient in source control management tools (GitHub, ) and with Agile Life Cycle Management tools.
• Strong communication, collaboration, self-organization, self-study, and the ability to accept and respond constructively to critical feedback.
