UI/UX Designer (225-717)

Job Description

A UI/UX Designer is a creative professional responsible for designing compelling user interfaces and enhancing user experience across digital platforms. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that products are both visually appealing and functionally intuitive. By conducting user research, creating wireframes, and developing prototypes, a UI/UX Designer bridges the gap between the user’s needs and the technical capabilities of the platform. They work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and marketers, to deliver seamless and engaging digital experiences. With a focus on the user's interaction, the designer continuously iterates on designs based on user feedback, market trends, and technological advancements. The goal is to create products that not only meet business goals but also provide joy and satisfaction to users.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive user interfaces that enhance overall user engagement and satisfaction.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to improve existing designs.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes for new product concepts.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs.
• Develop and maintain design documentation, including design specifications and guidelines.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and translate them into design solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Facilitate user testing and analyze results for continuous design improvements.
• Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Provide design support during the production and launch phases of a product.
• Continuously iterate on product designs based on user feedback and analytics data.
• Ensure designs are consistent with the brand’s voice, style, and guidelines.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of interaction design principles and user-centered methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate design decisions.
• Experience in conducting user research and translating feedback into actionable design changes.
• Ability to think critically and problem-solve to create innovative design solutions.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to creating high-quality design deliverables.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus for collaboration with development teams.
• A team player who can work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
