C# Developer – Fixed Income Desk – Leading Global Proprietary Trading Firm – London

Venture Search has partnered with a leading global proprietary trading firm known for its advanced use of technology, quantitative research, and market innovation.

They are seeking a talented C# Strategy Developer to join their Fixed Income trading desk, where you’ll work directly with traders, quants, and technologists to drive the development of cutting-edge trading strategies.

The Role

This is a front-office, high-impact development role focused on building systems and tools that support fixed income strategy development, pricing, and real-time execution.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where performance, reliability, and innovation are key. From low-latency infrastructure to data-driven backtesting frameworks, you’ll be contributing to the full lifecycle of strategy deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement C# applications that support trading strategy development on the Fixed Income desk.
• Collaborate closely with traders and quants to understand pricing models, strategy logic, and market requirements.
• Build and optimize high-performance, real-time systems for execution and analysis.
• Work with large datasets to run backtests, simulations, and PnL analysis.
• Ensure stability and robustness of all code through testing, documentation, and monitoring.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong commercial experience in C#/.NET development
• Solid understanding of multi-threading, real-time systems, and low-latency programming.
• Background in financial markets with exposure to fixed income, rates, or FX is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a front-office environment or closely with traders.
• Familiarity with market data feeds, order management systems, and messaging frameworks (e.g. Kafka, ZeroMQ) is a plus.
• STEM degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, etc.) from a top university.
