Senior Product Designer - Growth, Amsterdam

What is the role about?

At Bitvavo, we are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic Customer domain. This area of Bitvavo is responsible for growing the user base by acquiring, onboarding, activating, and retaining users throughout their lifecycle. As a champion of user-centered design, you will be responsible for crafting intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling experiences across our Customer vertical.

To be considered for this role, you must have at least five years of experience as a product designer and a strong background working in growth and B2C focused teams.Your ability to create powerful yet simple solutions will be essential in enhancing user interactions and removing friction from key moments in the user journey. You will work at the forefront of blockchain technology, collaborating with a large cross-functional team, helping to shape the product strategy, and strengthening our position as market leaders in Europe.

How will you make an impact?

• Lead end-to-end design initiatives across mobile and web, ensuring high-quality, consistent user experiences
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional peers to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
• Help facilitate discovery in your product team, gathering feedback, validating assumptions, and refining designs with data-backed insights and working closely with the Researchers
• Tackle open-ended challenges, working across large scopes while managing multiple projects and stakeholders
• Communicate solutions effectively using low- and high-fidelity designs
• Stay ahead of design trends, industry best practices, and emerging crypto/blockchain technologies to drive innovation
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive design culture within your team providing constructive feedback and enabling a good work environment to engage creativity
  
  

How will you be successful?

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, with a portfolio showcasing complex web and mobile designs
• Deep understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, and information architecture
• A scalable design process, demonstrated through strong case studies
• Highly developed skills to create refined and visually compelling interactive experiences that strike the right balance between user needs and functionality, ensuring seamless and intuitive user interactions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions effectively
• Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced, agile environment
• Comfortable working with data-driven insights, collaborating with researchers and analysts to inform design decisions
  
  

Bonus points

• Familiarity with blockchain, cryptocurrencies, or financial products
• Hands-on experience in user research methodologies
• A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field
