YOUR IMPACT

As part of our ITOM unit, you will contribute to developing OpenText software products such as our ESM software. We have a hybrid work model which requires you to work 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday) in our office in Cluj. However, you have flexibility in managing your 40 hours work week yourself.

What The Role Offers

• As a Java Software Engineer, you will be involved in the development process end-to-end, from the requirements analysis to the development, testing & maintenance
• Collaborating closely with product owners, system architects and QA engineers
• Investigating and resolving complex technical issues, performance bottlenecks and production incidents
• Sharing knowledge on coding, code reviewing, testing and debugging practices
  
  

What You Need To Succeed

• University degree in an IT-related field
• At least 2 years of professional experience in agile software development based on Java
• Expertise in Spring, Spring Boot and Hibernate
• Experience in automated software testing
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
• Beneficial would be experience in public cloud (AWS or Azure or GCP) and DevOps technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker)
