Urgent requirement for Business Analyst -Data Stream is required for our client in Abu Dhabi ,UAE

Knowledge of Database, Datawarehouse, Data platform, ETL, Data transformation---Must

Functional subject matter expertise on data & analytics tools--Must

Strong understanding of software development methodologies and technologies, such as Agile, DevOps, and cloud computing.--Must

Experience with cloud platforms and services, Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments.---Must

Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL). Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus

Aviation & Airport Domain --Must

Purpose of the Role

The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing solutions to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and provide actionable insights.

The Job Duties Include

  • Gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance business operations.
  • Develop and propose solutions to address business needs and challenges.
  • Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user guides.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
  • Assist in project management activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications.
  • Stay up to date with new innovations in data & analytics space
  • Familiar with analytics tools and platform like Power Bi and data platforms
  • Good data analytics capabilities and ability to translate the data requirements through work flows and charts

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Functional knowledge in BI tools like Power Bi etc.
  • Knowledge of Database, Datawarehouse, Data platform, ETL, Data transformation
  • Functional subject matter expertise on data & analytics tools
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services, Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL). Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.

Experience & Core Competency

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and technologies, such as Agile, DevOps, and cloud computing.
  • Experience with integration of systems and data management.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)) are a plus.
  • Experience in Aviation & Airports domain
