Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive AI and machine learning innovations, develop applications, and enhance business operations for a renowned bank.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Must have at least 10 years of experience in an IT functional architecture role.
• Must have expertise in machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, and MLOps.
• Proficient in data management practices for cleaning, preprocessing, and transforming datasets for model training.
• Must have Strong command of AI algorithms and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies on public cloud platforms, utilizing RAG patterns.
• Understanding of ethical principles for generating embeddings in Generative AI.
• Must have experience in Python, .NET, or Java, along with DevOps/MLOps/LLMOps tools (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, AWS Cloud).

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team;
• Self-motivated, curious, and an excellent team player with a strong learning aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of applications and systems, as well as managing the technical infrastructure in the production environment.
• Lead technological innovation by providing technical and functional support for the development and execution of projects.
• Develop and implement advanced machine learning and deep learning models to automate and transform business processes.
• Create and apply data science models to generate strategic insights, build predictive models, and deploy solutions that align with current industry standards.
• Leverage generative AI models to create synthetic financial data, simulate market scenarios, generate investment ideas, automate post-trade processes, and enhance interactions with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with quantitative analysts and traders to design AI-driven solutions.
• Foster a product-driven approach to leveraging AI models for improving and developing functional components.
• Work closely with both technical and business teams to solve complex challenges.
