GCP Devops Engineer

🚀 We're Hiring: DevOps Engineer (Contract)

📍 Location: [London] | 💼 Hybrid/Remote | ⏱ Duration: [6 months initial, likely long term extension]

We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead a key migration project moving our CI/CD pipelines from Jenkins to Harness. If you’re passionate about automation, cloud-native technologies and building scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), we’d love to hear from you.

🔧 What You’ll Bring:

CI/CD & DevOps Tooling

• Deep hands-on experience with Jenkins, including:
• Shared Libraries
• SonarQube & Nexus integration
• Docker builds and image publishing
• Google Artifact Registry (GAR) integration

Infrastructure & Cloud

• Strong knowledge of GCP:
• GKE, VPC networking, firewall rules
• Virtual Data Centre (VDC) architecture
• Google Artifact Registry

Scripting & Automation

• Terraform: Comfortable with IaC for GCP infrastructure and CI/CD components
• Python: Proficient in scripting and automation workflows

🌟 Bonus Skills:

• Exposure to Harness (CI/CD setup, delegate configuration, troubleshooting)
• Experience with large-scale tooling migrations
