Senior Network Engineer

Our client, a growing IT company in the semiconductor space with a focus in AI and Cloud, is looking to add a Sr. Network Engineer to their Infrastructure team. While they have a global presence and offices worldwide, this role will be based out of their office in the Santa Clara area with a requirement to travel.

They recently moved into a new office and are looking to bring on someone to support their infrastructure roadmap. They have plans to continue growing at the global level with plenty of exciting projects to come!

Key Skills:

• Experience using Cisco switches
• Palo Alto Firewalls
• Well versed with configurations and building with the Aruba stack
• Must have experience working within AWS
• Experience handling VPN related issues

Role Overview:

• Design and deploy enterprise LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, and firewall solutions
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex networking issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Support day-to-day network operations including performance tuning, incident response, and maintenance
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-focused team environment
• Assist with network architecture planning across global or multi-national environments
• Ensure compliance with security policies and contribute to incident response efforts as needed

Requirements

• Strong understanding of network technologies: LAN/WAN, routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, VPNs
• Knowledge of application transport protocols and network infrastructure standards
• Basic understanding of network automation tools and scripting
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across teams and levels
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies independently
