About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Android Developer to join our dynamic team on a contractual basis. This role is pivotal in leading the redevelopment of our client’s customer-facing mobile application, utilizing the latest Android development practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative features within the app, ensuring a seamless user experience. As a senior member of the team, you will provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Android development with proven expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. You should have extensive experience in greenfield projects, especially those involving rebuilding apps from scratch. A solid understanding of Android architecture components, UI/UX design principles, and performance optimization techniques is essential. Additionally, familiarity with RESTful APIs, TDD, unit testing, automation, and DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines is required. You should also have experience working within Agile (SCRUM) environments and possess excellent troubleshooting skills. A proactive mindset, leadership qualities, and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, collaborative settings are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop white-label Android applications adhering to best practices and coding standards.
