About The Role

We are excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a Frontend Developer specializing in React to join a rapidly expanding start-up business. This role offers a unique chance to be part of a forward-thinking team that is building innovative products in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of the development team, you will have the autonomy to lead and influence the design and development of user interfaces, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. Your expertise will play a vital role in shaping the company's digital presence, with a focus on building scalable design systems and component libraries. This hybrid position based in Cheshire offers a competitive salary range of £55,000 to £65,000, along with excellent career development prospects.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in front-end development with proven experience in React and JavaScript. A solid understanding of modern web development practices, responsive design, and UI/UX principles is essential. Experience working with cloud services, particularly AWS, is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach to tackling challenges. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if complemented by relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable front-end applications using React and JavaScript.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to translate requirements into functional features.
• Build and enhance design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency across products.
• Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces that deliver an optimal user experience across devices.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain high coding standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot front-end issues, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the overall technical strategy and stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
