PURPOSE:

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help us build and scale the core of our digital banking platform. You’ll design, build, and own backend services that power features used by thousands of clients — all in a secure, cloud-native environment. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

· Developing backend services powering wealth management, client engagement, and everyday banking features

· Writing clean, testable, scalable code (we love quality)

· Contributing to system architecture and design decisions

· Collaborating with mobile, frontend, product, and banking operation stakeholders

· Owning features end-to-end — from design to deployment and support with focus on reliability and security

· Mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar

· Taking ownership of key components and driving the team in a long-term vision

Our Stack:

· Java 17+

· Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes

· PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, BigQuery, OpenAPI, REST

· Google Cloud Platform, GitHub CI/CD, Prometheus, Grafana

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

· 8+ years of backend engineering experience

· Strong Java proficiency

· Experience building REST/HTTP APIs in cloud-native setups

· Familiarity with event streaming and pub/sub architectures

· Solid knowledge of SQL databases

· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and microservices environment

· A product mindset and a bias for action

· Excellent English communication skills

Nice to have:

· Experience in fintech, banking, or portfolio management systems

· Experience with Google Cloud Platform

· Familiarity with generative AI tools and applications
