Software Engineer

We are currently looking for a Software Engineer to work on an exciting project with a Global Technology company, based in Zurich.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, scaling, and optimization of our facial tracking demo application using Python and C++.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams,to refine and enhance application features tailored for VR/MR experiences.
• Direct and troubleshoot complex technical issues, ensuring efficient and innovative solutions.
• Implement and advocate for cutting-edge software development practices to ensure robust, high-performance code.
• Drive and influence all phases of the development lifecycle, from conceptual design to successful deployment in VR environments.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python and C++: Strong coding skills and ability to work efficiently in both languages.
• Problem Solving: Ability to identify, analyze, and solve technical challenges effectively.
• Team Collaboration: Experience working in an agile development environment and the ability to collaborate with team members effectively.
• Version Control Systems: Familiarity with Git or similar version control system, including CI/CD process
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Graphics, or a related field.
• Experience with game engines, e.g. Unity or Unreal Engine

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience with facial recognition or tracking technologies, especially within game development or VR/MR environments.
• Experience with controller and hardware integrations
• Experience with game physics, networking, audio
• experience with design and implementation of calling systems.
• Knowledge of advanced machine learning frameworks and libraries, focusing on real-time processing.
• Familiarity with computer vision algorithms, techniques, and their application in virtual and mixed reality systems.
• Experience with VR devices and a solid understanding of their software integration.
