Technical Delivery Lead

Talent International is searching for an experienced Technical Delivery Lead to join our QLD Government client based in Brisbane CBD on a 12-month contract with a likely extension.

// 2 Days WFH Per Week

The Role:
This Delivery Lead role sits within the Information Governance and Digital Enablement (IGDE) directorate of a large-scale Queensland Government department. You'll play a pivotal role in leading the Tactical Technical Solutions team as part of a two-year program of work focused on improving data quality, streamlining business processes, and enhancing reporting capabilities across a $40B+ asset base.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a small, high-performing Agile team delivering a prioritised product backlog across quarterly increments
• Build strong working relationships with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with priorities
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, quarterly planning, and progress reviews
• Support team decision-making to deliver high-quality outcomes efficiently
• Oversee transition of solutions to Business-As-Usual, including support agreements and documentation
• Engage closely with ICT and enterprise teams to ensure alignment with broader technical strategies
  
  Requirements:
• 5+ years' experience in Delivery Lead or similar leadership roles, ideally within QLD Government
• Strong understanding of Agile principles (Scrum Master certification highly regarded)
• Technical expertise in Power BI, MS Fabric, MS Purview, SQL, SharePoint, and Office 365
• Experience using tools like Jira and ServiceNow
• Excellent communication skills, especially translating complex concepts into plain English
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to drive results in a maturing delivery environment
